Greetings.

In a world of essays and textbooks, many find that the pen is indeed mightier than the sword. Having conquered the beast of college, I look to the horizon—from my window, it is a bunch of old, brick buildings and their bare neighborhood trees. Time has returned to me. The composition notebooks look to me with hope of being used for actual compositions instead of note taking. They won’t be.

Instead, I hear my laptop humming. I am finally able to return to the editing process that was put to a small whimper of a sudden halt so many months ago. Many projects, large and small, await me. Frustration, joy, and contemplation are all hidden in the words of future poetry, translations and retellings, and a final book draft. College is a beast of the past. Life and Career are its parents. Will the pen and its partners be strong enough?

I hope so.
