It’s Valentine’s Month, my dudes. Arr ya ready kids?
In light of the holiday, we are having our characters (or random people we know?!) propose to each other! Or something! Will it be a fiasco? Should any of these dorks be getting into a relationship with each other? We will start off strong and see what develops from there! Love (or not) is in the air! It takes a village to make a successful proposal, though. Choose your village wisely!
This scenario game requires 10 characters/names of people you know! Don’t know how to play? Just choose 10 people at random, assign a number (1-10) to their name, and read and imagine/write how their days go as guided below! Good luck!
The Proposal
- Were you aware that 4 and 9 have been dating for almost a year now? Well, they have. How? Why? You tell me!
- 9 wants to propose to 4, but they’ve enlisted the help of 2 and 6 to plan and execute the perfect proposal. Are they excited? What is their relationship to 9 or 4 anyway?
- 2 is put in charge of getting the special day recorded with pictures or video. Was that a good decision?
- 6 volunteers to help out with what they think they are experts at. What is that? Cooking? Secretly inviting other friends? Booking reservations? Making sure things go smoothly from behind the scenes? Do the exact opposite of that?
- It may not matter, because 9 wants 6 to be in charge of making sure 4 does not find out! 6 must be glued to 4’s side at all times. Is that safe?
- Is it suspicious that 8 is suddenly spending the same amount of time with 4 as 6 is, at exactly the same time? Hmmm.
- 1 is a jewelry merchant (or whatever they are called) and is asked to recommend Wedding Rings to 9. Are they good at their job? Are they recommending the priciest, the cheapest, the prettiest in their opinion? Do they even know anything about jewelry and rings? Why are they working here?
- 8 suggests they (8, 4, and 6) go to visit a jewelry shop—the same one 9 was going to. How does 6 react?
- 9 makes reservations at 3’s restaurant, a restaurant that 9 thinks 4 will love. What kind of restaurant would 3 be running? Is that something 4 would like?
- 5 overhears that 9 is planning to propose and is upset. Why do they think 9 and 4 are a terrible couple?
- 5 asks 7 if they should try to stop the proposal. What does 7 want?
- 8 won’t stop staring at 6. Does 6 notice?
- The day has come! Time for 9 to propose! Are they nervous? Are they out of their mind to go through with this?
- Before 4 enters the venue, 5 catches them. They tell 4 why they think 4 should break up with 9. What does that conversation look like?
- 1 and 3 are a married couple, btw, and are waiting at the restaurant for the proposal to happen. What are their thoughts about 4 and 9?
- 10 is a bystander at this restaurant. I hope they are enjoying their meal.
- 2! Are you ready to take pictures? Record the special moment? Where are you right now?
- 4 enters the building and 9 decides they can’t wait any longer. Right after 4 greets them and comments on the restaurant (good or bad?), 9 starts the proposal. Uh, what does that look like? Are they down on one knee? Are they giving a little speech first? (Are they calling the whole thing off?)
- How does 4 respond to this?
- It almost doesn’t matter, because in the background 8 is finally asking 6 if they want to date them! That’s the only reason they were hovering around 4! How does that conversation go?
- That also almost doesn’t matter, because 7 just sat down with 10 and they are hitting it off! What are they talking about that they share similar thoughts about?
- The night is over. Is anyone going home together with a happy new relationship status?
- One last thing! 2, what did you take the most pictures / recordings of? Yeah, I knew I could trust you to do that.
