Welcome back to another Character Scenario!
This is a scenario game that is a fun way to pass the time with friends, play with your imagination, or develop your characters! This theme requires 10 characters/names of people you know! Don’t know how to play? Just choose 10 people at random, assign a number (1-10) to their name, substitute their names in place of the numbers in the prompts, and imagine or discuss how their days go as guided below! Good luck!
Speed Dating
There is a party going on at a local building magically close to every character you put in your list! A speed dating party! Who happily signed up to go on a series of blind dates? Who was tricked into participating? Who was otherwise coerced? However it happened, they’re all here now! Let’s peek closer to see how it goes!
Each table has a different theme or activity for the participants to connect over. Each round lasts about 4 minutes, so be quick!
Table 1 = Escape room puzzle.Table 2 = Silent Dating. As you eat a plate of spaghetti, you can only communicate with each other through body language.
Table 3 = Finger Painting! Pick a person in the room for your new partner to recreate on paper through the magnificent art of finger painting! Then, critique each other’s paintings! (There is a sink nearby to wash your hands afterward.)
Table 4 = Roll a dice and answer a question.
Table 5 = Talent Show! Discuss or show off something you’re good at. (Math, singing, magic, cooking, etc)
- 2 and 3 have been paired together first, sitting at Table 4. Their question is… “If you could have any superpower, what would it be, and how would you use it for good?” How does that go? Are they a good match? Off to a strong start?
- 6 and 1 are sitting at table 2. What does their body language look like? Are they messy or clean eaters? I hope they’re getting along!
- 4 and 7 find themselves at table 3. 7 must pick a person in the room for 4 to paint and 4 must do the same for 7. How does that go? What do they have to say about each other’s finger painting skills?
- 5 and 10, look at you at table 1! Are either of you good at riddles and logic games? Can you use clues to work together and solve a puzzle or is one person taking over? Are they nice or is someone frustrated? D:
- 8 and 9! At Table 5! Oooh! What talents are you showing off? Is it making each other more attractive? Hope so!
- Time to switch tables! 3 and 1 accidentally bump into each other on their way to their next assigned table, causing 3 to trip on 1’s shoe and fall into 9. 3 and 9 are now on the floor with 3 on top of 9. Do I see sparks flying? Are they good or bad sparks? XD
- 7 and 9 are now at Table 5. Can they work together to solve a puzzle?
- Can 10 and 2 find love at table 3 with the finger painting challenge? How skilled are they each with paint? Hope they both like getting their hands messy!
- 8 and 1 are hanging out at Table 4! They must answer this question: “What’s your guilty pleasure, whether it’s a snack, a TV show, or a quirky hobby?”
- 3 and 5 have met up at Table 2. Oooh, body language and food. What does that look like for those two together?
- 6 and 4, welcome to Table 5. Let’s see those talents shine! Are you impressed with each other? Please be nice! Or not. Idk, maybe one of you is a Dark Lord or something. Oh dear, I hope no one’s talent was sucking the life out of people. Well, what’s done is done.
- And this round is done! Time to go home or switch to a new table! Who is picking a table again and who is leaving? Is anyone staying to help the host clean up later? Maybe sparks will fly then!
